We’ve received this email today, and were deeply touched by it we wanted to share it with you. Thanks for sharing, Jeff:
“About 2.5 months ago my 5 year old Great Dane “Regal” became partially paralyzed from the waist down. He was always such an active dog, so it was really tough on him to not be mobile.
However, my dog loved television and he especially loved shows with other animals in them.
The first time we watched. Regal’s eyes lit up like Christmas! He was very excited to see the other animals on the screen and although it wasn’t easy for him he actually stood up quite often for a better look.
Over the next two months we watched Dog TV every day! If the television was off, I could just ask him, “Do you want to watch DogTV?” and he would immediately get excited and begin to put himself in the Dog TV watching position. It made him so very happy.
The joy your programming brought to my gentle giant often brought tears to my eyes. Unfortunately although his mind was strong, his body was not.
Regal passed away on November 27th 2012. And he was my friend, my son, and my companion.
Thank you so much for the joy you brought to my boy “Regal”. You’re programming was such a gift and made his last couple of months so much easier and kinder”.
